Our one-on-one Housing Counseling services for Loss Mitigation, (A.K.A.Foreclosure Prevention) counseling is a comprehensive tiered structure in which clients facing housing instability receive Intake, Triage, Assessment, Counseling Services, Referrals and Follow ups. Counseling includes a range of activities depending on the client’s financial situations & severity of his/her housing instability. Others will require assistance with complex workouts involving negotiation with Financial Institution, Lenders or other Housing Related resources. We analyze client’s hardship, review default documents such as mortgage statement/mortgage note. Assess income and monthly household expenses and calculate ratios to determine best strategies and plan of action. We prepare mortgage assistance request for submission, review options and alternatives to empower homeowners to make informed strategic decisions. We implement action plans, follow up and wrap up for all parties involved in workouts.
